標 單元主要學習使用want來談論和表達自己的喜好；學習運用表示品質的形容詞來表達自己喜好的理由；學習連詞and和but的用法；鞏固行為動詞一般現在時的結構和名詞單、復數的構成。本單元通過“介紹電影，談論喜好”和“制定計劃”這兩個話題，設計了三個任務型活動：任務一是：根據自己的喜好，搜集奧斯卡電影資料，進行介紹；任務二是：我不確定，學習“表達計劃安排”的有關知識；任務三是：學寫小作文，讓學生掌握“陳述理由”的方法和正確使Do you want to go to a movie? Yes, I do. No, I don’t.
