第1-5分鐘導(dǎo)入引入
老師會用一個問題“How would you feel if your home was suddenly destroyed without warning?”引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進入聽力材料，讓學(xué)生對接下來的聽力訓(xùn)練的內(nèi)容有一個心理準(zhǔn)備。用問題激發(fā)學(xué)生的討論，從而激發(fā)學(xué)生對回答問題及相關(guān)知識的聯(lián)想。學(xué)生通過討論為接下來的聽力任務(wù)做好背景知識準(zhǔn)備。

第6-21分鐘聽材料聽力
1. Learn the new words about the earthquakes.
2. Listen to the tape to finish Ex.2 and Ex.3.
3. Find out the main idea of the listening material.
進入聽力訓(xùn)練，本課時的重點之一有了前面一個問題引入，再加上前面學(xué)過的READING部分，教師可以直接進入主題。讓學(xué)生聽一段錄音之后，學(xué)生完成幾個簡單的True or False問題，再聽一遍錄音，再完成幾個細(xì)節(jié)題，循序漸進，由淺入深，學(xué)生可以大概獲取聽力材料的信息。首先提一些簡單的判斷題，讓學(xué)生能夠輕易回答，即能夠讓學(xué)生獲得成功的喜悅，也可以讓學(xué)生對材料有個了解。之后，再進入深一些的問題。

第22-25分鐘展示信息
讓學(xué)生把聽到的信息以說的方式展示出來。教師把學(xué)生所聽到的材料信息用語句活詞語的方式展示出來學(xué)生把自己聽到的內(nèi)容，加上自己的理解，通過口語方式展示出來。

第26分鐘了解任務(wù)
了解任務(wù)。讓學(xué)生了解接下來的任務(wù)，就是再聽一遍錄音，獲取相關(guān)語言信息，再把這些信息運用在口語活動中，做一些預(yù)防地震的建議。
第27-39分鐘任務(wù)討論
強化語用意識和交流意識讓學(xué)生按照自己的觀點盡情自由的討論通過前面的討論、聽力，已經(jīng)使學(xué)生把握了許多相關(guān)的.信息，接下來的任務(wù)就是讓他們學(xué)會如何運用這些信息以口語的形式表達(dá)出來。自己與同伴的討論。
第40分鐘任務(wù)完成
修改完善自己的討論向全班同學(xué)呈現(xiàn)自己的討論成果。
